Shortest post I’ll ever make: I want to stop seeing movies that are made from books I’ve read. The Time Traveler’s Wife is a movie that I would put into the $5 bin at Wal-Mart. It was as if someone read the cliff-notes of the cliff-notes and then spliced that up to make a movie. If you read the book, you were disappointed and if you didn’t, you were lost. By the way, terrible casting call. I have a million things to say but I’m too annoyed to say them.
I don’t hate all movies but I consider this one BY FAR the worst I’ve seen this summer. Best book I read all summer though. FAILx578349.
Just like the casting of the movie, I give it NO STARS! The actress from Mean Girls who played Claire is very naturally beautiful and a decent actress, but she’s just not Claire. Henry who’s the Australian guy from my other fantastically bad summer movie, Funny People…FAIL FAIL FAIL.
Not to mention they totally hosed the Gomez character in casting…

It was the freakin’ Office Space guy! Burger from Sex and the City. The guy is a total blah actor/character. Gomez is supposed to be overopinionated and blunt! Not to mention blatantly in love with Claire!
